Course Description:

Students in this program will be able to apply knowledge and skills in the field of multimedia design. The elements and principles of art are the basis of good design. Combined with graphic design, audio, visual, web introduction, and photography this course provides the instruction necessary to develop a creative concept into a final visual communication product. Oral and written communication, customer service, and display production are a focus. Students will design, edit, and create projects using hand illustration and computer design software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, and AfterEffects. Students can earn Adobe Certifications.

Skills Learned:

Some of the skills a student will be able to perform are Art/Design, Desktop Publishing, Photography, Video Production, Cinematography, Digital/ Web Design and Advertising/Media.

Related Occupations and Earnings:

Related occupations include Art Director, Camera Operator, Film and Video Editor, Photographer, Graphic Designer, Audio and Visual Technician, Web Designer.
Earnings range between $13-$45/hour.
