Central Westmoreland Career & Technology Center employs nearly seventy people. The majority are in full time positions that require certification through the Pennsylvania Department of Education. We also employ Program Coordinators, Instructional Assistants, Clerical Support Staff, and Maintenance Staff. All employees are required to submit background checks in accordance with PDE regulations and all new hires are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

POSITION: Automotive Collision Repair Instructor
School: Central Westmoreland Career and Technology Center
Type: Full-Time
Start Date: August 2021
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive collision repair and refinishing industry. PDE (Career and Technical Level I) Instructional Certification 7-12 – Automotive Body and Fender 2005 in CIP 47.0603 preferred.
DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES: Provide quality occupational instruction to secondary career and technical students to prepare them for a successful career path in the fields of Auto Collision Repair. Duties include program development and modifying curriculum to remain current and effective instruction and supervision of all students. Build professional relationships with local business and industry partners to establish potential work sites for students. Maintain appropriate professional certificates and licenses as required. Willingness to pursue teaching certification and professional development activities to enhance the program as well as self. Possess excellent communication skills. Capable of fulfilling all job responsibilities as indicated in the CWCTC Instructor Job Description.

POSITION: Assistant Director of Workforce Education

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must possess valid PDE Administrative Career and Technical Admin Director and Administrative K-12 Principal certifications; Special Education teaching certification or experience in special education teaching and/or administration (preferred). Master’s Degree (preferred)
DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES: The Assistant Director of Workforce Education is responsible for planning, supervising and coordinating all workforce education programs and personnel including customized workforce training. The Assistant Director of Workforce Education shall also be responsible for supervising all aspects of the Special Education Department. The Assistant Director of Workforce Education shall also be responsible for assisting the Administrative Director in soliciting donations for the Central Westmoreland Educational Foundation. Capable of fulfilling all job responsibilities as indicated in the CWCTC Assistant Director of Workforce Education Job Description.
