POSITION: Workforce Education Coordinator
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid Special Education teaching certification
Description: The Workforce Education Coordinator provides direct services to students by determining appropriate work-based education needs of students, identifying appropriate work sites and providing (periodic) supervision at the work site. The Workforce Education Coordinator shall work collaboratively with teachers, special education facilitators, and paraprofessionals in support of each student’s transition plan and career goals. Capable of fulfilling all job responsibilities as indicated in the CWCTC Workforce Education Coordinator Job Description.
POSITION: Powerline Teacher
Description: Provide quality instruction to secondary career and technical students to prepare them for a successful career path in the powerline industry. Students will attain technical knowledge and skills to install, operate, maintain and repair local, long-distance, and rural electric power cable and communication lines; erect and construct pole and tower lines; and install underground lines and cables. Includes instruction in cable installation and repair, fiber-optic technology, trenching, mobile equipment and crane operation, high-voltage installations, maintenance and inspection, safety, remote communications, and applicable codes and standards.
