What is Tech Prep?

Tech Prep is short for Technology Preparation. In other words, preparation for an exciting career in technology! Tech Prep is a program of study that starts in high school- as early as ninth grade but no later than the eleventh grade- and helps students make a smooth transition to post secondary school and into the job market.

Is Tech Prep for me?

Yes- if you enjoy hands-on activities, enjoy working with technology, and want a rewarding career. Tech Prep is designed for students with an interest in technical careers. But it's not a watered down program. Tech Prep stresses high levels of math, sciences, communication, and technical skills. With your advanced math and science at your high school and successful completion of your tasks at CWCTC, you can earn college credits while at the Career and Technology Center at NO COST to you or your parents.
